Elvin Eugene Endicott
ENDICOTT, Elvin Eugene – 56, of Woodburn died Thursday, November 20, 1997 at his home in Woodburn. He was born on May 4, 1941 in Idabel, Oklahoma. He moved to Roseburg at an early age. It was there that he attended Roseburg High and played on the All Star football team. Later he attended Portland State University. He resided in Roseburg for several years and worked as a truck driver in the transportation department for the Boeing Corporation. He moved to Tacoma, Washington in 1986. He married Sue Anderson in 1989 in Tacoma. The two moved to Woodburn in 1996 where they have lived since. Mr. Endicott was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #174. Elvin's favorite past time was fishing. In addition to his wife, Sue Endicott of Woodburn, he is survived by his mother, Sybil Endicott of Aurora; three sons, Delmar Endicott of Steillacoom, Washington, Bill Endicott of Roseburg and Curtis Endicott of Woodburn; three daughters, Lisa Knee of Roseburg, Lori Bullock of Roseburg, and Gena Endicott of Tacoma, Washington; a sister Judy Him of Portland. Seven grandchildren also survive. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Tacoma Washington Cancer Center or the Mid Willamette Valley Hospice. Private family services and interment will be held. Simon Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
