BA (hons) and MA in Classical Archaeology, and interrupted doctoral studies in pictorial semiotics in Greek art; prior studies in Paleography, fluent in Swedish, advanced reading knowledge of Norwegian and Danish, and with novice's reading knowledge of French, German, Dutch, and enough Latin and Greek to be dangerous rather than useful (gosh, I need to practice!).
I've researched my own family history and genealogy since 1997, with broad experience in modern Swedish sources and with an academic approach to 16th century and earlier medieval individuals and families. I have made minor in-depth state-of-knowledge studies into the comital family of St. Pol, the von Bülows of Mecklenburg, the Skleroi and Macedonian dynasty of Byzantium, and am continuously exploring whichever ancestral families that capture my interest - right now, that's the Oxehufvud, Prika, and Grijs families in 15th and 16th century Halland/Västergötland.

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordination is essential. Thanks for joining the Sweden and Euroaristo Projects.
