According to Annette Kunselman Burgert's Eighteenth Century Emigrants from the Northern Alsace to America, Hans Theobald (or Diebold) Ledermann/Lederman and his wife Anna Maria/Maria Engler/Engel had eight (or nine) possible children, found in the following records:[2]
Lembach Lutheran KB records: Parents Hans Theobald Ledermann of Matsall and Anna Maria Engler, four children:
Hans Peter, born 18 September 1711
Maria Ursula, born 17 April 1714, died
Twin of Maria, stillborn daughter, born 17 April 1714
Catharina Barbara, born 25 January 1716
Langensoultzbach Lutheran KB records: Parents Hans Diebold Lederman and Maria Engel, three children:
Hans Daniel, baptized 6 November 1718
Johann Melchior, baptized 23 April 1721
Anna Catharina, baptized 17 May 1723
Dehlingen Lutheran KB records: Parents Hans Theobald Lederman, linenweaver "aus der Elsass" and Maria Engel, one child:
Johann Nickel, baptized 7 September 1724
Another Johann (possibly same as above?), is named in American records, in Rev. John Casper Stoever's unpublished early records as: "Theobaldt Ledermann in Falckner Schwamm had a son: Johann Christian b. 27 Aug. 1730, bp. 4 Oct 1730, Sp.: Christian Muller and wife Veronica"
Immigration
Anna Maria Engler Lederman arrived at the port of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the ship James Goodwill in 1727.[3][4][5]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Anna by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Anna:
