Biography

Thomas Engelbrecht was born on 19 January 1872 in Bennets, Oxford, Canterbury, New Zealand, son of Heinrich Peter Engelbrecht and Elizabeth Ann Giles^[1].

His siblings were:

Thomas died on 9 December 1932 in Coutts Island, Canterbury, New Zealand^[3]. He is buried in Kaiapoi Anglican Cemetery, Kaiapoi, Canterbury^[4]. His will was probated on 7 March 1933 in Christchurch, New Zealand^[5].
