Biography

Joseph England was born on the 2nd of September 1680 in the township of Burton-On-Trent in the County of Staffordshire, England. His parents were John England and his wife Love, according to Quaker Records. He married Margaret Orbell on the 8th of May 1709 in Ickham Twps in the County of Kent, England. Together they had these children:

• 2. Samuel England, (1717 - ?)
• 3. Johanna England (1721 - ?)
• 4. Joseph England, Jr. (1723 - ?)
• 5. Lydia England, (1730-1734), died as a young child

Joseph died on the 23rd of December in 1748 at about 9:00 O'clock at Night in West Nottingham, Chester County, PA. He was buried on the 25th of December of the same year at the Friend's Burial Ground's at East Nottingham, Chester County, PA.
