John Weslye England was born on December 13, 1919 in Metcalfe, Kentucky, United States, son of Stanford England (1899–1970) and Icy Sparks (1899–1962).
John married Eddie Lera Hurt (born on June 20, 1924 in Cofer, Metcalfe; daughter of George Harlan Hurt and Cary Estelle Hamilton). Their son was Malcolm David England (1951–1995).
John died on July 26, 1984 in Edmonton, Metcalfe, aged 64. He was buried in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Adair County, Kentucky.[1]
