Tylee was born on 13 Dec 1844 to Joseph C. Engle and Emily Maria Haines. ^[1]

In 1850, Tylee was living with his parents, Joseph and Emily, and siblings in Northampton, Burlington, New Jersey, United States.^[2]

Tylee married Annie Green Stokes, daughter of Israel L. Stokes and Caroline Green, on 2 Feb 1871 in Rancocas, Burlington County, New Jersey.^[3]

Tylee and Annie had the following children:

2. Caroline Stokes Engle b December 1874
3. Herbert Engle b abt 1876 New Jersey
4. Emily M. Engle b Aug 1879 ^[4]

In 1900, Tylee, Annie and their family were living in Willingborough Township, Burlington, New Jersey, United States^[4]

Tylee passed away on 25 January 1930.^[3]

He is buried at Rancocas Friends' Burying Ground, Burlington County, New Jersey.^[3]
