Brigitta 'Brida', daughter of Gallus Engler and Barbara Hilty, was born in St. Ulrich and christened in the Reformed church in Sevelen, St. Gallen, Switzerland on 17 November 1661. The godparents were Hans Tischhauser, Leonhard Seifert, Anna Tischhauser and Dorothea Rohrer.[1]
