Alice English was born on October 2, 1738 in Lebanon, Connecticut. She was the daughter of John English and Abigail Newcomb.[1] Around 1760, Alice's family migrated to Cornwallis, Nova Scotia, where her widowed mother, Abigail, was granted 666 2/3 acres of land on July 21, 1761.[2]
Alice married Dr. Samuel Willoughby on August 28, 1760 in Cornwallis, Nova Scotia.[1] He died before 1790. On December 23, 1790, she married David Eaton, who was 61 years of age at the time.
Alice is buried at Chipman's Corner Churchyard Kings, NS with first husband Samuel Willoughby.
