Biography

Doris Hopia was born in 1902. [1] She married Albert Winterburn in 1922 [2] but he passed away the same year. So did an infant son later in the year

At about 10.30 on Saturday morning the Infant son of Mr Wiremu Kingi died at his parents’ residence, Tainui, and at about 12.45 the twin son of Mrs Albert Winterburn also passed away, this making the seventh death in Tainui for five weeks. All were cousins, and much sympathy is felt for the bereaved relatives. [3] She married 2nd William Harmon in 1928 [4] She passed away in 1977 [5]
