Mary was born November 20, 1753, in Baltimore county, Maryland, a daughter of George Ensor and Elizabeth Unknown. Mary married Micajah Merryman, a son of Moses Merryman, of Baltimore county, Maryland. Children of Mary and Micahah include:

• Sarah Merryman, born 10-1-1781, died 1804, age 22

• Moses Merryman, born 3-24-1783, died November 19, 1819, age 36, veteran of the War of 1812, married Mary Cockey on June 13, 1805

• Eleanor Merryman, born 6-17-1785, died in 1832, age 47

• Mary Merryman, born 8-23-1786, died January 2, 1829, married 1) to George W. Todd on Sept 3, 1803 and 2) Benjamin Bucknell

• Micajah Merryman Jr. born 5-16-1788, died April 29, 1854, in Baltimore county, married Clarissa Harryman April 10, 1826

Mary (Ensor) Merryman died in June, 1788, at the age of 34, during the puerperium of the birth of her youngest child. She is buried in the Merryman Family Cemetery, in Loch Raven, Baltimore County, Maryland. ^[1]
