Biography

Per equity records, on 8 January 1818, John sold 50 acres of land to a Martin Suber for $1,000. However, John Epting was stabbed in a fight and died before the titles could be properly transferred. He left a wife Caty and four children.

Per the same equity records, a bill was filed on 6 February 1821 to execute the land title transfer. The bill was filed by Martin Suber against George Eigleberger who was the administrator of John Epting's estate.
