Anders Ericsson Lindorm, soldier for Segelsberga married Kerstin Ericsdotter in Soorby Torp 5 May 1703.[1] They lived in Segelsberga Torp. On this page there is a reference back to page 151 for Kerstin.[2] On page 151 we find Kerstin Eriksdotter in Soorby Torp with her parents, Erik Olofsson (from Munktorp) and Ingeborg Andersdotter. Her age is given as 12 years in 1688.[3] This would mean that she was born in 1674 - at which time a couple of pages are lost from the birth book.
There was a sequence of soldiers #28 Lindorm in Segelsberga, belonging to Kungsörs Kompani of Västmanlands Regemente. They did not fare well in the wars of Charles XII.
Anders Lindorm's wife is in the taxation record 1704. (The previous soldier Lindorm was Daniel).[4] In the taxation record 1710 it is noted that Anders (Eriksson) Lindorm is a prisoner of war and his wife is begging.[5] The same goes for 1711. Then in 1712 the soldier is Jacob Lindorm.[6] We believe Kierstin was widowed and is the same woman who married Anders Hansson in 1712: Anders Hansson in Segelsberga Torpet was married to widow Kerstin Eriksdotter ibidem in 28 October 1712.[7]
At the taxation 1715 Jacob Lindorm is noted as prisoner of war; there is a new soldier Anders Lindorm, with wife.[8] This is our Anders Hansson.[9] In 1717 Jacob Lindorm and Anders Lindorm are both prisoners of war. There is a new soldier, Mats Lindorm.[10]
In 1720 Anders Lindorm has been discarded due to "frailty".[11] He is back in Björskog, destitute.[12] As far as we can see Anders Hansson (Lindorm) does not appear further in the taxation records - but Anders Hansson is in the household record for Björskog in 1735 as a crofter, age 57, with his wife Kerstin Eriksdotter, age 61.[13] This, again, makes her born around 1674.
When Anders died in December 1636 he was said to live in Wadstena Torp. Then hustru Kerstin Eriksdotter in Wadstena, 68 years old, died 2 January 1737.[14] Although the given age differes from the other records, as far as we can see there is no other Kerstin Ersdotter of that generation living in Wastena at that time.
