Hilda Sofia (Eriksdotter) Becklund migrated from Sweden to America.
Hilma Sofia (Eriksdotter) Björk was born on February 15, 1857 in Hova, Skaraborg, Sweden. She was baptized on February 17th in Hova. Hilma Sofia was a daughter of Erik Gustav Björk and Christina Maxe.[1] They moved to Ölsbo bruk in Nysund in 1857.[2] They moved from Ölsbo bruk to Karlskoga in 1864.[3] They moved to Nedre Degerfors 21 Degernäs in Karlskoga from Nysund in 1864.[4][5][6][7] The family moved to Degerfors 9 Degernäs, Karlskoga by 1876.[8]
She married Johan Persson on October 27, 1877 in Karlskoga, Örebro, Sweden. They were both living in Degerfors, Örebro.[9] They lived at Degerfors in Degerfors until they moved to America. Johan was a smältare/melter.[10][11][12] They had many children together in Örebro Iän, Sweden and in Worcester county, Massachusetts:
Johan Persson Bäcklund and family left Degerfors, Örebro, Sweden and went to Massachusetts in America on June 13, 1892.[16] They lived in Worcester, Worcester, Massachusetts in 1900 through until they died.[17][18][19]
Her husband, John Becklund, died in 1921 in Worcester, Worcester, Massachusetts.[20]. She died many years later on June 20, 1935 also in Worcester.[21]
