Note From Beverly Heiberg to Margaret Kollitides (Jan 2018): Yes It was for political reasons @ to my cousin Milton Heiberg Our great grandfather Knut Erickson Heiberg was discharged from Army of kingdom of Norge of Sverige in 1862  HE.  Married Marie & opened a grocery store in Oslo (Kristiania) in 1888 & ran for political office in Storting ( like our Congress). Most  members were Royalty & mocked him for working as a commoner. Carl &Harald. ( Charlie & Harry) were born & Baptized there in Gronland Neighbor hood in church still there Ironically it is now a multi ethnic neighborhood - Lots of Muslims @ 1888 fed up with nobles he emigrated to New York & bought house  at 620? 44 st  Charlie married Karen Matteson & had 4 boisterous children . Family  kept until @ 1955. house  I-have photos  from 1800 at home  Be glad to share them If only Trump followed the Norwegian way of government now vs  just accept them we could be the beast place on Earth to live as Norway is usually rated
