The probate tells about Johanna who has left for America and who has children with deceased Johannes. In the household book Huddunge it states that Johannes passed away in 1899 oct 24 and in 1901 jun 14 Johanna gets approval from Kungl Majestät (eng. the King) to leave the country. I also found on the library a "book" with short stories/comments about Huddunge "Sisselbo Eriks Huddunge Socken i ord och bild 1592-1977 part 1 -7" and it was mentioned that a whole family Hall left Huddunge for Amerika as also many other people did.....
See Picture from the book where it says "Halls soldatstuga låg öster om landsvägen mellan Nyby och Rödjetbro (wikipedia), en hel familj av släkten Hall reste på 1800-talet till Amerika".

It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Eric by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Eric:
I found at Bygdeband the position of the soldier croft I think Eric lived in see Hall-torp no 65. See also this video
