I sent you a Private Message just now. Looking forward to working with you.

Looking forward to working with you on those profiles!

Did you recieve my Private Message? Please let me know either way.
Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

I notice that you have created a pre-1700 profile Salomon Persson (1689-1783) which has no reliable sources included. The family tree which you link to in the see also section is not considered enough for profiles in this time period. Cheers, Elizabeth
Cheers, Elizabeth :-)
- You can see new tabs at the top of our home page, where you can select topics to view or work on. You can also use our new maintenance categories - feel free to add them to your own family, or any other Jewish Roots profile, or work on the maintenance yourself, such as adding new records to profiles with only a couple sources.
-I'm sending an invitation to join GoogleGroups, which we are re-starting this week. We'll probably do most group chat there, but the most important things will be posted on G2G, which you will be notified about if you follow the jewish_roots tag.
-You can also join Wikitree's discord server, where we have a Jewish Roots chat channel.
-If you have ideas or suggestions for the project, feel free to reply here or send me a message.
Thank you! -Elaine, co-leader for Jewish Roots Project
Thanks for creating pre-1700 profiles like Henrik Mattsson (1691-1783).
When creating pre-1700 profiles, per our community standards, you need to have a reliable source, which you cite, before creating a new profile. In the case of Henrik, you cited your own tree which is not a source in and of itself. Please return to Henrik and provide at least one reliable source. If you need help finding a source, the Sweden Project would be a good place to start.
Thanks.
-William

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential. Please be sure to read and understand the info on this help page: Pre-1700_Profiles.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask in our G2G forum
Take care and have fun

How are you? I'm Shirley, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.
How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.
If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Do you have Royal Ancestors? Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.
And I'm here to help too, just ask!

Just a quick PS
Don't forget to Head over to the G2G forum. and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House or ask a question in any of the other categories. There's also a brickwall tag in the G2G forum: for that "special" ancestor who is eluding you.
if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.
Best Wishes, and have fun adding your leaves and branches!

"Sources are critically important for genealogy. Some even say that genealogy without sources is mythology. Even if you're just a casual family historian recording modern family history, you will be helping future genealogists by listing where the information you've added came from."
Feel free to ask questions at our G2G forum. Also, our help pages menu, top right, has some very useful information.
Our Honor Code is why our community is such a friendly place to grow your family tree, so please take some time to read it. Want to join us? Check the volunteer box and leave a brief comment about your genealogical journey. Happy researching - Patt
