Emma Ersdotter was born on May 2, 1859 in Islingby no 9 in Stora Tuna parish, Dalarna, Sweden. She was the oldest child of Karls Erik Andersson and his first wife Trafvar Stina Ersdotter.[1] They lived at her maternal grandparents place in Islingby her first 9 years, and then moved to Dalsjö in 1868.[2] She had six younger siblings. Her mother passed away in 1878. Her father remarried in 1883, and she had another nine half siblings.
She had a son out of wedlock: Carl Wilhelm b. 1879.
She married Jan Erik Eriksson (b. 1858 in Grangärde parish) on May 20, 1882. They lived in Domnarvet in Stora Tuna 1886-1890. They are listed as methodists, She left the swedish lutheran church on August 31. 1883. They had children Oskar b. 1883, Johan Erik Berhard b. 1885, Lydia Matilda b. 1887 and Axel Emanuel b. 1889.[3]
Emma passed away on October 13, 1938 in Utanång in Borlänge.[4]
