Biography

Marit was born 18 July 1809 in Fryksände parish to Eric Nilsson in Utterbyn and his wife Marit Persdotter.[1][2] her father died in 1824.[3]

Marit Ersdotter went to serve in neighbouring parish, Vitsand, in 1827.[4] She came back to Fryksände parish and Utterbyn in 1829.[5] She served in several different households in Fryksände (there are references from page to page in the same volume).

12 May 1836 Marit Ersdotter in Utterbyn married the widower Per Persson.[6] According to the household records Per was born in Röbjörkebyn, Fryksände parish. Over the years they had nine children (since a couple of them died in childhood, they are not present all together in any of the records).[7][8][9][10]

Hustru Marit Ersdotter in Utterbyn died from a stroke 25 February 1879, when she was close to 70 years old.[11]
