Biography

Christopher Erskine made public his intention of marrying Rebecca Waters on May 22, 1762 at Boston.[1]They were married at Boston on November 13, 1762.[2]

On May 23, 1793, Yeoman Christopher Erskine received his share "in division with Waters", the kitchen part of the house and the land. June 9, 1794 "Christopher Erskine (Yeoman) and wife Rebecca, in her right, deed to John Milk (boat-builder) part of the house and land with barn thereon in Sun Court, newr North Sq., being all that part of sd dwelling house and land and barn which was set off to sd grantors, which sd kitchen part of sd house and land and barn; W. that part of sd house and land set off in sd division to Nehemiah Porter, N. in the rear 31 ft., E. 65 ft., S. a common passageway 47 1/2 ft."[1]
