Biography
It is worth noting that Family Search holds a birth for a Marie Erskine with a date of Christening on 14 Mar 1656. This has got to be a transcription error and the "two" births are the same; that is this one. The father, Charles, was too young in 1656.
Mary's Christening is given as 15 May 1666 at Alva in Clackmannanshire (old Stirlingshire).
