Biography

Peter was the son of Peter Esau and Anna Neufeld.

~ ~ Peter Esau, aged 93, passed away peacefully at Chilliwack General Hospital December 31, 2016. He immigrated to Canada with his parents in 1926 and grew up in Manitoba. In 1943 the family moved to BC. That same year Peter was called to join the army and served until 1946. In 1948 he married Elizabeth Dueck. They were blessed with four children and farmed in the Rosedale area and worked at several jobs. In 1958 Peter started work at East Chilliwack Co-op and worked there for 35 years before retiring at age 65.[1]
