1881 Census ^[2] has Margaret Esson (42 born in Leochel Cushnie), John H Esson (12) and William (10) both born in Logie Coldstone

Family Tree of a relative has death on 05 December 1940 at Millhead and buried in Tarland with two wives, Margaret Isbella Low (14 January 1898 at Logie Coldstone) and Nita Riach (1937) with him appearing in the 1891 Census as a 20 year old Farm Servant in Tarland, 1901 Census in Bilboa Cottage as a 30 year old farm servant and cattleman with 1911 Census living at Knocksoul Cottage as a 40 year old horsekeeper
