Mary Ann Estes is the daughter of Isaac Estes and Rebecca (MoodY) Estes.
On November 25, 1839, at Bethel, Oxford County, Maine, Mary Ann married George Warren Bean. They were the parents of five children, all born at Bethel.
George died June 26, 1864, in the Civil War, in Andersonville, Confederate Military Prison.
On July 1, 1865, Mary Ann married secondly, Daniel Cummings, born May 1832,.
Mary Ann in 1906 and was buried in the East Rumford Cemtery, in Oxford County, Maie. Her husband, Daniel survived her (he died October 16, 1909) and put the name Mary Ann Bean on her headstone. He was later buried next to her, as her first husband was buried in Andersonville, in Georgia.
