Biography

Listed as Ruth Carriel's mother

Anna was the daughter of Jacob Estey and Lydia Elliot, and the granddaughter of Mary Town Estey, who was executed during the Salem Witch Trials of 1692.

Anna married Samuel Carriel, of Sutton, on 4 May 1742.

"Samuel Carriel and Annah Eastey both of Sutton were joined in Marriage May 4, 1742 by the Rev. David Hall, Pastor of the Church in Sutton."

After their marriage, Anna and her husband remained in Sutton. The couple were parents of four children: Anna, Dorcas, Ruth and Samuel Jr.

Anna's husband died at Boxford December 1756 when Anna was 37 years of age. So far, no record has been found of Anna's death.
