Mrs. John W. Dygert
Miss Margaret M. Etheridge, wife of the late John W. Dygert, daughter of the late Nathaniel Etheridge, of Herkimer, and granddaughter of Gen. Michael Myers, died of heart disease at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William E. Cheney, 44 Lansing Street, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock, aged 80 years, 10 months, and 9 days. Mrs. Dygert has been a patient sufferer since last November, bearing all her suffering with the resignation of a Christian. She was a member of the Baptist church of this city for over 40 years and was a most devoted wife and mother. She leaves to mourn her loss one sister, Mrs. M. S. VanSlyke, three daughters, Mrs. W. H. Abbott and Mrs. W. E. Cheney of this city; Mrs. J. E. Hoover of Oneida, and one son David F. Dygert of Rochester, beside several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The funeral services will be held from her late residence, 44 Lansing Street, Fridahy afternoon at 4 o'clock, the Rev. D. D. Munro officiating.
