Henry Etherington was baptised to George at Swine (near Hill) on 3/1/1627, and buried at nearby Hedon 18/11/1668.
He married Elizabeth (buried 26/12/1690) as they are named in a final concord concering lands at Newton Garth in 1662. Henry, his brother Christopher and mother Mary, all of Hedon, signed a deed of covenant regarding Newton Garth in 1658. Henry and George mortgaged lands in the Paull parish on 1669, Elizabeth Etherington widow of Hedon was named in a bond concerning this land in 1670. Henry appears to have had at least 12 children (baptised at Holy Trinity, Hull and Hedon  ) half of whom died young. He appears to have been survived by a son William, a Hull cordwainer.
