Biography
Elizabeth Etherington was born about 1827. She was the daughter of Thomas Etherington and Sarah Thargill. [citation needed]
In 1841, Elizabeth was residing with her mother and three siblings (William, Sarah, and Joseph) in Elvington, Yorkshire. [1] Elizabeth's father had died prior to the census being taken.
By 1851, Elizabeth was an unmarried 22-year-old residing in the Edwards household in Brandsby, Yorkshire. She was one of four servants. [2]
Elizabeth died, unmarried and apparently without children in 1855. Her death was registered in York, Yorkshire, England. [3] Elizabeth's remains were buried in Elvington, Yorkshire on September 3rd, 1855. [4]
