My mother, Wilhelmina Eubanks was born on May 7, 1912 in Sleepy Hollow (AKA "The Runs," AKA "Buzzard ('s) Roost,") in Aiken, South Carolina and died on May 31, 1995 at a nursing home in Deland, Florida, in Volusia County, Fl. Wilhelmina also had a sister, Carrie "Sue" Eubanks, who was the twin of Walter. Much of the Eubanks family moved from South Carolina to Saint Augustine, Florida in 1912, the same year the Titanic sank. A family member went to Florida, looking for work because times were very hard in S.C. He learned that the Flagler Railroad was being built and that there would be plenty of jobs, so he informed the rest of the family in South Carolina, which resulted in much of the Eubanks family migrating to Florida. [I will add much more family information later, either here or in "Comments".]
