Notes
Note N29 Dear David,
I've been reading back issues of the "George County Times" in my research as you probably have noted from time to time. I came across the following today. Mellie Eubanks 9th grade Rocky Creek Consolidated School Honor Roll To qualify for honor roll students had to have had perfect attendance and made at least 90 on their months exams. This appeared in the October 22, 1915 issue Vol. XI, #40, page 3. Mellie Eubanks received .50 cash given by A. E. Dean for the Best 12 Jars of Vegetables, Fruits and Berries in the list of prizes awarded to members of the Canning Club in the October 29, 1915 issue. (Vol. XI. #41, page 4) Enjoy,
Janet
