Laura Ann Reddick Eure was the beloved daughter of Reddick Brown Eure and Nancy Beeman.

On October 7, 1852 in Leake County, Mississippi, Laura Ann became the loving wife of John W. Scogin. John and Laura were blessed with several children: William Reddick, Martha E., Mary Fannie [Crawford], John Albert and Taliaferro R. Scogin.
