No contemporary documents, which mention her by name, are available as of 16 Jan 2018, except for the inscription on her grave marker. The paperwork for her husband's estate (cited below) indirectly indicates that she had access to the items in the inventory up until her death, which occurred about four months before the sale of the listed items.
Various compiled family trees say that she was born in Kintyre, Argyle, Scotland, on 20 Dec 1749. That is, however, inconsistent with notation on her grave marker of her death "in Her Eighty Seventh Year" which would, in turn, indicate that she was born in 1752 or 1753.
Per jeffrey Evans, "Jane EVANS. Born, 1752, in (probably) Delaware. Died, 20 MAY 1839, in
Iredell Co., NC. Burial in Snow Creek, Iredell Co., NC22."
