Samuel Evans was born 2 Apr 1795 in Washington County, Tennessee, the son of Andrew Evans Sr. and Elizabeth Fain. On 1 Jan 1818, at age 22 in Pulaski County, Kentucky, he married Margery Modrell.[1] Together, they had nine children.[2]
