"HAUTH—At her residence, 2501 Freret street, on Thursday March 8, 1934, at 5:20 o'clock a.m. ELIZABETH W. EVANS, beloved wife of William A. Hauth, mother of Arthur W., Warren J. and Louis J. Hauth, daughter of Elizabeth Miller and the late Arthur Evans, aged 39 years, a native of this city.
Relatives and friends of the family, also the officers and members of Journeymen Barbers' International Union, Washington Benevolent and Mutual Aid Association and Shakespeare Carnival Club are respectfully invited to attend her funeral which will take place from the chapel of L.A. Muhleisen & Son, Dryades, corner of St. Andrew on Friday, March 9, 1934, at 4 o'clock p.m. Services at St. Francis de Sales church, second corner Loyola.
Interment in Greenwood cemetery."[3]
