Biography
- Charles Spencer Browne Evans-Lombe born Evans (1861-1939) was the son of Charles Evans Lombe (born Evans) and Josephine daughter of Isaac Hall of Chapel En Le Frith, Derbyshire. He was baptised on the 15 Dec 1861 at Malden, Surrey, England.
- He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Leinster Regiment.
- He married firstly Lilian Marian Anderson on the 1st of June 1892 in St Michael's Church, Hockering, Norfolk. She died by her own hand in May 1913 at Buncrana, Co. Donegal, Ireland.
- He married secondly Evelyn Gaitskell daughter of Lt.-Col. Burr of Hyde Park Mansions, London on the 21st of Seotember 1918 at Holyhead, Isle of Anglesey, Wales.
- He died aged 78 on the 26th of July 1939 at The Mount, Beer Hill, Seaton, Devon, England.
