Biography

Willard Burton Evans(Evans-35814) was the brother of (Evans-35812) Charles/ Chuck Jennings Evans. He married his brother's wife (Mathewson-776) Flossie Mathewson Brogan Evans after he died. He was born in 1914 and died in 1987. "Red" Evans, 75, Farmington, died Monday, Dec 28, at the Four Corners Good Samaritan Center. He was born Nov. 3, 1912, in Waterville, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cope Memorial Chapel in Farmington. Brother Carl Nowlin will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cope Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Flossie Evans of Farmington; and two sons, Ted H. Evans Sr. and wife Nancy of Farmington and Todd I. Evans and wife Karla of Jamestown, N.M. There are six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cope Memorial Chapel in Farmington.
