Biography

Edward was born in 1847 in Alabama.

In 1870, Edward was married to Salina and they had three children at home, George (5 years old), Nancy (3) and Mary (1). Edward's occupation was farmer. Edward and Salina both identified as being born in Alabama and were both 28 years old. The family was living in Walker County, Alabama.[1]

In 1880, Edward and Salina were living in Holly Springs, Fayette County, Alabama, and had the following children in the household: George W (14), Nancy (12), Etta E (10), Allice (8), James (6), Hiram (less than 1). Edward is again listed as a farmer.[2]

Research Notes

Have not been able to find marriage or death records yet. There are several other Edward Evans' living around the same time with ties to Alabama.
