Biography

She was born on 02 May 1813 in North Carolina, USA and her parents were Nancy Jenny (Murphy, 1775–1848) and Robert Alexander Evans, Sr. (1756–1826).

Margaret "Peggy" Evans first married on 02 Feb 1826 in Washington County (Washington), Indiana, USA to Guyan Gillespie [1] [2] (c1794-c1855), son of Margaret (Kerr, 1769–1842 and Guyan "John" Gillespie, Sr. (1753–1844).

She married secondly about 1853 to John Albert Adams (1792–1870).

She died on 17 Mar 1903 in Washington County, Indiana, USA. [3]
