Edward Jones Evans died on March 29, 1926, in Dubuque, Dubuque County, Iowa.[1]
He was married to Ellen Shorey.[1]
In 1880 he and his wife and three children were living at Crooked Creek (the next township to Brownsville), Houston County, Minnesota, and he was a farmer. In 1900 the family were in Julien township, Dubuque City, Dubuque County, Iowa, where he was working in a saw mill. In 1910 they were still in Dubuque and he was a "contractor and sawyer in a mill". The census enumerator had got confused as he recorded the whole family as having been born in Wales! There is no sign of him in the 1920 and 1930 Federal Censuses so he presumably died 1910-1920.
