Biography

Mary (Eveleth) Millett was born in England.

Mary Eveleth was the daughter of of Sylvester Eveleth and Susan Nubery. Mary, was baptized on 30 June 1633 in Exeter. She and her family emigrated to Massachusetts around 1642.[1] [2] [3]

She married Thomas Millett and they had no children. They lived in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, New England.

"The eldest son, Lieut. Thomas Millet, as he was called, married Mary Evelith* on May 21, 1655, Governor Endicott officiating-. This was about the time his father moved to Gloucester. Their wedded life was passed in that town, lasting thirty-two years, the wife dying in June, 1687, leaving no children. [4]

Evelith-2 and Eveleth-57 appear to represent the same person because: Slight date of birth issue, but one in the same. Isaac's wife Abigail Evelith, widow of Thomas Willett's wife's brother, Isaac, and daughter of John Gait was Thomas's second wife.
