Pheme Ewen:
Pheme lived at home and helped on the Ewen family farm until she met and married Hugh Moore. It is said the couple went with her brother, Archie and his fiancée, Della Demoe to Fenelon Falls, without telling a word to anyone at home and were married in a double ceremony. Pheme was working in a factory in Kitchener, ON, when she suffered a heart attack and passed away.
