Biography

John Was baptised on August 7, 1803 in Berkeley. He was the son of John Exell and Elizabeth Jenkins[1]

Said to have been a gardener at Berkley Castle, Glos, England. Widow Hannah (nee Baker) remarried Joseph Sturge (or Stringer according to Janet Cook) on 29th Sept 1841 at Berkley.
