Biography

Sarah was baptised 25 August 1782 at Cathedral Church of St Peter and St Paul in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. She was the daughter of John Eyre, Esq. and his wife Elizabeth. Her father was a bookkeeper at the time.^[1]

She married Samuel Kingdon on 26 February 1805 in Sheffield, Yorkshire.^[2]

Sarah died at the age of 83 on 12 October 1865 in Exeter, Devon and was listed in the newspaper obituary as the widow of Samuel Kingdon, Esq.^[3][4]
