Mary was born about 1714. On 16 Jun 1739 she married Jonathan How. They had approx. 12 children based on records located to date.

It is believed Jonathan and Mary remained in Hope, Derbyshire throughout the remainder of their lives. This is where she passed away in October 1793. Her burial location is currently unknown, although it may be at the parish church St. Peter's.
