New Oxford (PA) Item, p 5. "Mrs. Sarah J. Melhorn, widow of the late Jerome Melhorn, died at the home of her son, Harry M. Melhorn, in Hanover, at 3 a. m. Sunday, July 15, of a complication of diseases, aged 70 years, 5 months and 8 days. She was a daughter of Daniel [sic] and Catharine Eyster, of near Bendersville, Adams county, and was married in May 1859 to Jerome Melhorn, also of Adams county, who died Dec. 15, 1902. She is survived by one son, Harry M. Melhorn, of Hanover, and one sister, Mrs. William Miller, of Aspers Station, Adams county.
