Webster County, Kentucky Will Book 1 Page 468 Ezell 27 Jul 1885 - 25 Jan 1886 The last will and testament of Wm Ezell. In the name of God amen, I William Ezell of the State of Kentucky and County of Webster being of sound and disposing mind and memory calling to mind the frailty and moertanty? of Human life and being desirous of settling my worldly affair and directing how the properties with which God has blessed me shall be disposed of after my dicecise (sic) while I have strength and capacity so to do do make this my last will and testament. I hereby reworking, and making will and void all other last wills and testaments by my hertofore made. And first I command my immortal spirit to him who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried with little expense or ostentolous? by surviving friends and as to my worldly estate, and all the property, real, personal or mixed of which I shal die seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease, I devise, bequeath, and dispose thereof in the manners following to ___(Ourfonin's)? My will is, that all my just debts and funeral charges, shall, by my executors here in after named, be paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as shall by when by found convenient (steve) I give, devise, and bequeath to my beloved wife Margaret V. Ezell the use imforurements and income of my dwelling house, our hundred and eleven acres of land, which is free from all liabilities and its appurtenances situated in Webster County and State of Kentucky. To have and to hold the same to her for and during her natural life but which at her death I devise that it be equally divided among my children excluding the children of Tobias Bran who married my daughter, both of whom are now dead, from any share in my Effect whatever. I give, devise, and bequeath the one hundred acres of my land estate lying on the north side of the farm which is to cut off by an east and west line, and on which there is now a mortgage held by Dr. G. W. Campbell to be so arranged which the mortgage be satisfied and the remainder diveded equally among the aforesaid heirs excluding as before stated the Tobias Bran heirs. In testimony whereof I the said Wm Ezell have to this my last will and testament Contained on one sheet of paper subscribed my name and to this I have affixed my seal this 27th day of July, in the year of our lord One thousand Eight hundred and Eighty-five. Doris Clerk of Webster County do certify that the foregoing mistrissed of uneling purpoting to be the last will and testament of William Ezell desed was on Jan 17=1886 produced in open court and proven by the oat of R. H. Oran and E. J. Hollis two subscribing witnesses ther to be the last will and testament of said decident. Whereupon the same was ordered to probate and record as such and the same together with this certificate hath been duly recorded in my office. Witness my hand this January 25, 1886 C. A.
