DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Jacqui or other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage (beta) of DNA with Jacqui:

Have you taken a DNA test? If so, login to add it. If not, see our friends at Ancestry DNA.

Hi Jacqui,

It looks like your parents have other profiles on WikiTree. I will initiate a merge so that you can be linked to our great big tree. ;-)

I would love to share whatever information I have. I am very interested in what you may have. There is so much about my family that I don't know. My maternal grandmother and grandfather died when I was just a child; and my mother and I are estranged. If I find anything new I will certainly share it with you. Good Luck and God Bless!

Jacqui, most WikiTree members won't see the wonderfully detailed messages you have in your tags unless they should happen to be reviewing the members following "Wickstrum" "and "Smithson", so make sure to start some G2G forum posts with any questions.

The links showing how we connect to Anne Frank are really neat, aren't they? She was the winner of our "Connection Combat" game in which we race to connect two different people to our global tree. The connections include marriage links as well as parent/child, so they show how we *all* connect to Anne Frank even if we have no Jewish heritage in our own ancestry.

Jacqui,

You are now a confirmed member of WikiTree. Thank you for joining us!

Do check out the many groups under Find -> Projects that are collaborating on research topics of interest, such as Project: Sweden.

The Question of the Week is "How many different spellings of your surname have you found and have any helped break down a wall?" Stop by to join in the discussion.

Have fun and ask for help in the G2G forum when you hit a brick wall. WikiTree members are a knowledgeable and generous bunch. If you need help with WikiTree-specific problems, our Mentors Project is staffed by friendly volunteers who will be glad to assist you.

See you in the branches of our growing tree!

Hello Jacqui -

Welcome to Wikitree! I'm so glad you found us!

Wikitree is one BIG world-wide family tree that is freely accessible to everyone. Our goal is to have one profile per person which means we all work together as a BIG friendly and polite collaborative team!

If you are interested in sharing your research and want to collaborate to add your family, please fill out the TAGS on your profile page and click SAVE TAG(s) AND VOLUNTEER.

Each Tag should be a single surname like SMITH or single location like CANADA with a comment explaining why this subject interests you.

  • Once you choose to Volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and you'll be on your way!

Welcome to the Family!
