Biography
Frances was born in 1842. (this bio was written by me for Find A Grave) Frances Jane (Fagan) Horton was the first child of ten born to Benjamin Bristol Fagan and Mary M.(Smith) Fagan in Pickensville, SC. The family moved to Forsyth County, Georgia. She was married first to Oliver Strickland. Oliver was the brother of Virginia Strickland who married the brother of Frances (James Danelly Fagan). Oliver died in the CSA. She married 2nd to Judge William Capers Horton and they had five children: Leila, Earl, Clifford, Annis and Lizzie (Lizzie died young).
