DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Annette or other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA. Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line: It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Annette:

We are 7th cousins! Our first common ancestor (among 42) is Michel (Hache) Gallant, Larche, Galand. This connection is through my maternal ancestral line and Michel is my sixth Great Grandfather. I simply love the 'Relationship to Me' option here on WiKiTree.

Sincerely, Jeannette (Martin-Brideau) Saladino

Hi!

I'm Matty a WikiTree Mentor. Our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile. Please look at how to write a Biography and how to put Sources in.

Having dates and locations attached to every person assists in our mission as well - if you have pre-1700’s ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

Check out How To Use WikiTree. It’s a great step-by-step guide to get you started.

And I’m here to help too, just ask!

You might want to set your Privacy to Private with Public Family Tree. The WikiTree programming needs to see your Family Tree tab to make DNA and other cousin connections for you. Please take a look at my profile http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Cooper-1 where I use Private with Public Biography AND Family Tree to see a list of some of my WikiTree cousin connections and my list of U.S. Presidential cousins.

Hi Annette,

Just a quick PS

Don't forget to Head over to the G2G forum. and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House or ask a question in any of the other categories. There's also a brickwall tag in the G2G forum: for that "special" ancestor who is eluding you.

if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

Best Wishes, and have fun adding your leaves and branches!

Thank you for volunteering!

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community! Please remember that we are trying to build one Collaborative Global Family Tree which means only one profile per person. It is important to ensure that no duplicates are created and profiles are properly sourced.

To help you get started, check out an introductory WikiTree video that a member created. For member benefits, see our Community Members page.

We also have a Mentor Team who will be glad to answer questions and help you with any specific problems.

Welcome and Enjoy!

see you have uploaded your DNA for comparison.

Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.

Thanks,

Fred
