Biography

James Fairbairn (1838-23 Sep 1887) [1]

James arrived in Dunedin, New Zealand on the 'Stormcloud' in 1862. He first worked at fencing and on farms on the Taieri and at Taieri Beach. He then bought property at Taieri Beach where he farmed until he died.
